How does the subscription work?
You reserve a fixed block of hours each month, a bit like having a designer on retainer without the full-time commitment. Requests go into one shared queue, by email, WhatsApp or your own tools, and get picked up one by one in your order of priority. Expect a reply within one working day. Brief, design, feedback, repeat, month after month.
Who does the work?
Just me, Coen Janssen. By day, a designer at a creative agency, working on brands you probably know. CANDDS is my own studio, where clients work with me directly. That means agency-level standards and experience, at a scale and price that fit a growing company that isn't ready for a full agency. One point of contact, from brief to final file.
Are requests really unlimited?
You can add as many requests to the queue as you like. They get done one at a time, within the hours you reserved. An 8-hour plan comes down to roughly two focused hours a week, so we agree together on what matters most first. Quality always comes before speed. Something urgent? Just move it to the top of the queue and it's next in line.
What does the first month look like?
It starts with a short, informal intro call and a close look at your brand and goals: guidelines, files, what works and what doesn't. From there, the first requests go into the queue and work usually starts within the first week. By the end of the month you'll have the first results and a clear rhythm for how we work together from then on.
Which tools do you work with?
Design happens in Figma and the Adobe Suite, and websites are built in Framer. Day to day we talk over email, WhatsApp or Google Meet, and every request is tracked in Linear on my side, so nothing slips. Prefer your own tools? Those work too. Final files come ready to use for web, social and presentations, without extra steps on your side.
Can you work alongside our team?
Yes. Plenty of brands already have in-house marketers, developers or a separate agency for media. CANDDS works right next to them, with clean handovers: organised Figma files, clear specs for developers and assets ready for every channel they publish on. One designer who knows your brand, working with the people you already have around you.
What's not included?
The focus is on digital design, brand identity, art direction and Framer development. Not included: complex custom backend development, 3D animation, media buying and copywriting. When a project needs one of those, specialists from my network can step in. That's always discussed and agreed with you up front, including any extra costs.
Do I own the work?
Yes. Once the work is delivered and the invoice is paid in full, the rights to the final deliverables are yours. Use it, change it and publish it however you see fit. Working files, unused concepts and my own tools and templates stay with me, and the finished work may appear in my portfolio once it's public, unless we agree otherwise up front.
